How to clean and store nipple covers
1. Cleaning
The worn nipple cover is already covered with dirt such as sweat, hair, bacteria, and dust. If not cleaned in a timely manner, the stickiness of the nipple cover will be greatly reduced. Nipple covers can only be cleaned with a neutral detergent, such as shower gel or neutral soap. When cleaning, first thoroughly wet the nipple cover with warm water, then squeeze an appropriate amount of shower gel onto each of the two cups, gently rub with your fingers, and be careful not to scratch your nails on the nipple cover. Treat it as gently as possible. After rubbing for a while, rinse the nipple cover clean with water.
2. Air drying
The nipple pasties should not be exposed to sunlight. It only needs to be hung in a dry and ventilated place. Higher temperature environments can actually deform the nipple cover, which is not conducive to preservation. In addition, when airing the nipple cover, it is necessary to fold the nipple cover in half and place it on the hanger. Do not use clips to clip the nipple cover, otherwise prolonged clamping may cause the nipple cover to deform.
3. Film application
After drying the bra nipple cover, if you don't plan to wear it, you need to use plastic film to seal the adhesive side of the inner layer of the nipple cover. We had the plastic film on it when we first bought the nipple cover. The purpose of this is to prevent dust from falling on the nipple cover, which can affect its adhesion. If you have already thrown the plastic film away when wearing the nipple cover for the first time, you can use cling film instead. In short, you must not expose the nipple cover directly to the air.
4. Storage
Simply applying plastic film is not enough. It is best not to store the nipple cover together with other clothes. We can store the nipple cover in the box where we bought it. If the box is lost, it can also be stored in a regular storage box. In short, try to reduce the storage space of the nipple cover and store it separately to reduce the amount of dust and bacteria that fall on it. Storing it separately is to avoid other clothes squeezing the adhesive nipple cover and causing it to deform.
