How to clean and store breast patches
1. Cleaning
The worn bra patch is already covered with dirt such as sweat, hair, bacteria, and dust. If not cleaned in a timely manner, the stickiness of the bra patch will be greatly reduced. Nipple covers can only be cleaned with a neutral detergent, such as shower gel or neutral soap. When cleaning, first thoroughly wet the patch with warm water, then squeeze an appropriate amount of shower gel onto each of the two cups, gently rub with your fingers, and be careful not to scratch your nails on the patch. Treat it as gently as possible. After rubbing for a while, rinse the patch clean with water.
2. Air drying
The nipple pasties should not be exposed to sunlight. It only needs to be hung in a dry and ventilated place. Higher temperature environments can actually deform the breast patch, which is not conducive to preservation. In addition, when airing the breast patch, it is necessary to fold the patch in half and place it on the hanger. Do not use clips to clip the patch, otherwise prolonged clamping may cause the patch to deform.
3. Film application
After drying the bra nipple cover, if you don't plan to wear it, you need to use plastic film to seal the adhesive side of the inner layer of the bra patch. We had the plastic film on it when we first bought the bra patch. The purpose of this is to prevent dust from falling on the bra patch, which can affect its adhesion. If you have already thrown the plastic film away when wearing the bra patch for the first time, you can use cling film instead. In short, you must not expose the bra patch directly to the air.
4. Storage
Simply applying plastic film is not enough. It is best not to store the breast patch together with other clothes. We can store the breast patch in the box where we bought it. If the box is lost, it can also be stored in a regular storage box. In short, try to reduce the storage space of the breast patch and store it separately to reduce the amount of dust and bacteria that fall on it. Storing it separately is to avoid other clothes squeezing the adhesive nipple cover and causing it to deform.
